Kerala PSC has released the notification of the much awaited LD Clerk recruitment today. Lakhs of candidates were waiting for the LDC recruitment notification by Kerala PSC. Minimum educational qualification for applying for LDC clerk recruitment is SSLC. Selection will be based on the performance in the written test that will be conducted by Kerala PSC as per this exam schedule. Kerala PSC has also announced the Syllabus for the Lower Division Clerks recruitment test along with the notification. Applications should be submitted online at the Kerala PSC website. Online applications for the LDC recruitment will be accepted at the Kerala PSC website from 15/01/2011 only. Last date for submitting the LD clerk application is 16/02/2011, Wednesday till 5 PM.
Candidates should upload their passport size clear photograph along with their application online at the Kerala PSC website. The photograph should be taken after 31/12/2010 and the name of the candidate as well as the date on which the photo is taken should be printed at the bottom of the photo. Candidates should keep the barcode obtained at the time of submitting the application for future reference and correspondence with Kerala PSC. Hall tickets will only be available at the Kerala PSC website for download one month prior to the test date. Hall tickets will not be send by post to candidates this time. There is no application fee for applying to the LDC recruitment. Through this recruitment Kerala PSC is aiming to fill vacancies of LD Clerks in various departments and Village Assistants in the Revenue Department and Amin in Judicial Department.
Age Limit of Kerala PSC LD Clerk Recruitment 2011
Candidates are eligible to apply for the LD Clerk recruitment if their age is between 18 – 35 years. Candidates should be born between 02/01/1975 and 01/01/1992. OBC and SC/ST candidates are eligible for the usual age relaxation.

Kerala PSC advises candidates to apply to only one district. There are chances PSC will reject your application if applied to multiple districts.

Candidates should be born between 02/01/1975 and 01/01/1992. You can apply next time since you havent got the minimum age limit to apply now.

Kerala PSC advised not to apply to 2 different districts. It is better to stick to the same district
i was born on 30.01.1972 and i belong to Lathin Catholic (OBC), can i apply to Kerala psc ldc examination 2011.
For OBC candidates the age relaxation is 3 years. Hence you should be able to apply.

@Eby, Please check if your hallticket is available at the Kerala PSC Website as per this schedule. To get your hall ticket, Go to http://www.keralapsc.org, on the right side of the site you can see Online Hall Ticket in bold letters. Click on it. Select LDC in categry code, enter your bar code and date of birth. Then click proceed. You will get the Hall Ticket.
At the time of examination, please produce the print out of the hallticket, original and copies of your valid ID proof (passport/election ID card/army ID card)

Barcode is assigned to candidate at the time of applying online at the KPSC website. If you missed the barcode, send an SMS in the following format from the mobile number you have updated in the Online Application form:

You can get the Hall Ticket using the bar code number and your date of birth. Keep the hall ticket with you, the register number is mentioned in the hall ticket. You will need the register number to check the result

Currently the qualification for the LD Clerk post is SSLC. KPSC is considering to change the qualification to Higher Secondary. The decision has not yet been made.
