Kerala PSC Deputy Collector recruitment will be based on the performance in Preliminary Test, Main Test and Interview. PSC has released the Syllabus for the Deputy Collector test 2011. Preliminary Exam – 100 marks (75 Minutes) – test will be in English.

- English Language, Vocabulary and Grammar – 25 marks
- Test of reasoning including quantitative aptitude (SSLC level) – 25 marks
